custody/church

My husband and I were members at same church, live in same town.  children involved in Sunday School, children's choir, Team Kid on Wed. nights.  He says he will be attending another church and will take the kids to his new church when he goes...which probably won't be much.  This seems like one more disruption for the children that he could elminate...would it be unreasonable to ask him to let me take them on Sunday mornings and let him pick them up afterwards?

depending on what state you are in (ie if you live in the bible belt or not) you can make provisions for religious activity in your custody agreement. You would have to give him something in return - like an extra evening during the week if you are going to take away from his regular parenting time for it.

However, if you live in any state that isn't in the bible belt - he doesn't have to let you take the kids and you won't be able to force the issue in court.
