50/50 Custody and effect on children

In a previous message, I have been told that 50/50 is not so bad on the kids?  I just cannot imagine that, but would like to hear more about the 50/50 and how children handle it.  My kids are 6 yrs (boy)  and 3 yrs (girl)...are there any studies on this?

It's been difficult for me ( see my post titled justice for all pullllleeez) but I know some couples who do a wonderful job with it. Depends on your relationship with your ex and whether the negatives are gone.
