How long do i have to wait

I have been waiting for over a month for the divorce judge to rule on my divorce.How much longer can he make me wait before i know anything.

it depends on the state you are in and how backed up the courts are - it can be a few months to a year sometimes.

I don't know what state you live in but the divorce should be settled at the final hearing and you should receive a signed copy shortly thereafter unless it was a highly contested divorce. If all was agreed upon at the hearing then it is only a formality.. I live in Indiana and it's sent almost immediately after the hearing since the judge signes the final decree while sitting on the bench at the hearing. Good luck now and in the future.

I have read it could take upto a year or more depending on your state.
