custody issue

I am custodial parent with visitation rights for my husband.  I was awarded the minor children.  MY problem is my child is handicapped and now 26.  she has a mind of a 10-year-old.  they say my papers are no good and my ex came and got her.  If she is a dependent wouldn't that fall under minor?

Answers for "custody issue"  (1) (You must be logged in to answer)

no - she is still considered an "adult" at 18. He has the right to take her unless you made sure you had power of attorney for her once she had turned 18.
