Would You Have Sex with Your Ex Up to the Divorce?

In India, a man's divorce petition was recently turned down.   ADJ Abul Kumar Garg found the man's claims of abuse unfounded since he was still having sex with his abusive wife.

The ADJ ruled that, "Continuous cohabitation with the wife shall amount to condonation of the act of cruelty complained of and condonation in matrimonial cases means complete forgiveness of the act.” In other words: If you're still having sex, the abuse can't be that bad.

What are the acts of abuse? According to expressindia.com, " refusing to do the household chores and frequent misbehaviour."  In America, "misbehaviour" is usually what keeps couples together. After the court's ruling, this couple is still together, and probably still having sex.

Answer s for "Would You Have Sex with Your Ex Up to the Divorce?"  (3) (You must be logged in to answer)

I stopped having sex with Mr. Ex two days before I asked him to leave. It was the realization that he was no longer sexually appealing to me that prompted me to send him packing -- and I never looked back. Out of everything, that's been the hardest fact for him to swallow. He doesn't understand why we still can't have sex so long as we're legally married. My answer is clear, consistent and simple: Because I don't want to.

Since I filed for divorce in April no way would I have sex with him again. Yes there has been abuse of all kinds done to me. Oh boy cause you do not do something for alittle bit you are helping the other side get points for the divorce, what is this world comming to. Or is it just lawyers making things more differcut?
The abuse is really bad when someone has to have sex with a spouse just to make sure they do not get hurt again!
