How to ensure divorce will be performed in the US?

My wife and I both have dual citizenship (US-Brazil) and have lived in the US for several years.  We have been separated for 1 month and now she has informed me that she is returning the Brazil with our daughter and wants the divorce to be settled there.  I want to settle the divorce here.  Is there any way I can require that the divorce be settled here?
