custody hearing/husband says he will get what he wants

My husband turned down an offer from my lawyer.  He wants every other week, I do not think it's good for the children.  I prefer every other weekend fri-mon and one night a week.  He says he told his lawyer he will get what he wants.  Money is no object.  So if the judge rules in favor of my desire, and husband objects to that..then what?  He and his family have bought their way out of many legal problems and think they are infallible...

OK...so what do we do?  I am so intimidated by my husband.  He does love the children and I would never prevent him from seeing them.  I guess there are no easy answers.   His family doesn't mind spending money on expensive lawyers.   I can't do that.  Any other suggestions?

the judge isn't going to rule on this anytime soon - he is going to send you two back to mediation to discuss it further - this is only your first round.

You know I noticed something in you last posts about this - you say he has no concern for routine or schedules & that is why you don't want him to have 50/50 - but you say you are offering him extended weekends which means he deals with school (routine & schedule) several times a month.

So to a judge - if you are willing to allow that - then your argument about routine and schedules flies right out the window...
