How long can this drag out

How long can a person drag out a divorce? My ex would not sign any separation agreements, and him an his attorney are un reachable until I try to serve my ex and get a court date? Then the attorny appears, while my ex is out of the country. In April the attorney states that he is unavailable unti a July date. Can they drag it our more??

Just stay on top of things and don't let them get away with it.  Keep on them.

Unfortunately yes, but there might be actions you can take to help compensate for this.  Check with your lawyer and see if there's anything you can do.
