Money hungry ex

I have been with my fiance for 3 years , he has been seperated for 6. He just turned in his divorce papers recently and served his soon to be ex wife, she signed. But now since she knows his father left him money when he passed 2 months ago and about a year ago he was seriously injured in a accident she is stating she whats half of what his dad left and what he will get in the accident settlement. Is that possible of her to do since she already signed papers and has a baby with another man, seperated for over 6 years. Need help fast , my fiance is so worried because she was fine doing the divorce until she ran into money problems now she wants to take him for what ever he has  which isnt much.

They were already separated at the time of these occurrances so she has no right to half of that money.  Once you seperate and have that date....things move forward from there as not being 50/50.

Isn't it so sad when money issues happen the ex's think they are intitled to help from the ex spouse. What is up with that? It is not like she would share it tables where turned.

No and no.  She can't touch the inheritance or the accident settlement.  Your fiance can tell her to go pound sand.
