suicidal spouse

my husband is very suicidal. he is in a crisis center right now. i need to know what to do because my son is acting out on his actions. i need to know what to do if-when i file for divorce? would i fall under the same circumstances as a normal divorce or what

sounds like you have three different issues at the same time.
1.  Your husband is in a safe place---yes?
2. How old is your son? Counseling is the best thing to do for kids of any age.  they will thank you for it later on.
3.  Divorce is divorce.  You need to speak to a lawyer soon.  Are you leaving him because he is mentally unstable?  Or is it due to other issues?

Always seek advice from someone who knows what they are doing...for each issue, husband, children and divorce.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.  Depending on your childs age.  Keep it simple, open and honest...even if the truth hurts.
