Need Advice or link for financial aide for filing

I live in CA. I separated from my husband in Oct 04.
So many years and I still can't afford a divorce AND
I can't figure out the "do-it-yourself" packets I purchased.
It's uncontested and we're still very good friends...
who can help me?
we have one child together and lots of debt,
but no assets (property)...

did you try legal aid and were denied? If you haven't tried that route - go down to your local courthouse.

you can hire a paralegal to help you with the paperwork and you take care of the court aspect - which is a lot less expensive than an attorney. If the two of you are friends I'm sure you could pool some resources to pay for it.
