How much does a divorce cost? How long is the process, and do you HAVE to go to court and do all that stuff??

It all depends on where you live, who you use for the divorce, attorney or paralegal, and what types of divorce are available where you live.
Our divorce is costing us $526 and taking three to four months. We used a paralegal because we had agreed on everything like division of property, etc. before we filed. Also, all our kids are grown so we didn't have that to worry about. Ours is a default divorce.
Check the superior court website for your county and see if you can get information there. It was really helpful to me.
