Will I get maintenance?

My husband makes $130,000/year and I make nothing.  I am a stay-at-home mom but am going back to school for my RN.  Will I be able to get maintenance plus child support while I am in school?  It is a 26-month program.  I will have the kids most of the time and don't think I will be able to work part-time, have the children, and go to school.

best thing to do is get a good attorney, but yes you will be entitled to alimony to get you back on your feet to supporting yourself.

Yes, we have two homes actually.  I am just very concerned about getting through the next two years.  Two cars also and of course all bank accts, etc.

Every case and every state is different but you will get something.  You need to consult your attorney on this.  Do you two share any assets together? ie house, car, land, investments?
