Need advice for a guy that won't go away

Good Morning, I need advice for a sticky situation. I recently ended my 7 year engagement and want to get on with my life. The problem is we purchased a home together and the mortgage is automatically drafted from my checking account. I've asked my ex to move out and he won't. I've also offered to move out but I can't afford to pay for 2 houses - and he's not willing to refinance the house or agree to sell. I'm not comfortable keeping the house under both our names and just trusting that he will make the payments - what are my options? I feel trapped in this relationship because I can't leave until we resolve the house issue and that's just the way he wants it. Can I sue to have him evicted or force him to sell or refinance. I'm not looking for revenge or trying to be vindictive, but I've invested a lot of money in this home and don't want to walk away empty handed or worse if my credit gets ruined by this. I don't even know what type of attorney I need since we aren't actually married - any suggestions?  Kristee

Wow, this is a very interesting question.  This is a great site and has many articles.  I would suggest that you consult with an attorney to get his advice before you make any moves.
