Desertion

My name is on the loan and both of our names are on the deed. If I would leave and we would seperate for awhile, could he get me on desertion since the loan is in my name?

Answers for "Desertion"  (1) (You must be logged in to answer)
according to my lawyer, if there is a separation agreement in  place prior to you leaving he cannot get you for abandonment.  you both are still responsible for the mortgage and that would have to be worked out...
