new to this game...

i recently joined this website and I must say I am so pleased with the help and advice from those of you who have been through this already. How do you deal with an ex who just does not get it? 2 kids are wanting nothing more than dad's attention, but he has excuses all the time. How do you get a divorce when you make good money, and are now financially strapped due to no support payments and increased expenses. I have always made more money than him, yet I am the one who gets the larger portion of debit to deal with. Attorney fees are a lot and I just do not have the funds to get a divorce right now, yet I want to be emotionally rid of him forever. This is so frustrating. this divorce will be uncontested for sure. We both wants this, but is there a way to do this without lawyers. Can anyone recommend an online site. Or am I better to get an attorney since we have children

I'm not sure how old your children are but you do all you can to make them a stable home.  You cannot answer for his shortcomings.  You cannot make him do anything.  You seem to be a strong person.  I have a lot of respect for you trying to maintain in this situation.
