Can l open my divorce from 3-yrs ago to get my exhusbands pension he talked me out of??

l,am a 62 year old divorced women,divorced in 2005, my ex was a mental abuser, he talked me ou of asking for any pension or sposal support, l was married and never worked outside of the home for 38 years, l,am on ssi to survive,its tough, if he dies who gets his pension? he is still working, l,am sure his estate goes only to our children, he wants me to have O,can you answer the question on his pension??thank you

custody is always open - a divorce is final. You signed a legally binding agreement - you can't change it. If you signed away rights to his pension - there isn't anything you can do about it.

it is my understanding that a divorce isnt really over, you can go back and amend at anytime. BUT that doesnt mean it will be successful - and i would talk to an attn if I were in your shoes (and if money is really tight, this may seem too $$$)

there are some experts on here, perhaps they can weigh in...
