Marie Pierre-Bien-Aime and Samuel Bien-Aime divorced. According to the settlement Marie would get the house, the Lexus, and $1,210 a month to raise the kids. Marie wanted more. Marie wanted blood.
It all started last year when Samuel became suspicious of his wife. Leaving early from his flower shop, Samuel went home and checked the mail. There he found that Marie had not only borrowed against their mortgage, she'd bought another house.
He confronted her. They Argued. He asked for a divorce. She offered the grocery store security guard $1,500 to kill her husband. Marie called her husband and told her she needed to talk to him about something important. She arranged a meet in a nearby bakery parking lot.
Samuel, expecting his wife, met the security guard. The guard offered to split the hit money rather than kill Samuel, and Samuel found this plan much more to his liking. He also called the police who arranged a sting and arrested Marie.
Samuel and his children are fine, but still in shock over the whole thing. ''I was scared. It was unbelievable,'' he said.
