Help

I would appreciate any advice..I left my husband and moved out from the house we had bought together. We had an appraisal done and he was going to give me half. Then he met with a lawyer and now refuses to give me my money. We put the house up for sale but I know he won't agree to any buyer. What can I do?

I don't know the laws in your state. If he's saying you abandoned him, if that's an issue in your state, then he may be entitled to more of a property settlement, which is why he's not giving you the money. But really, why are you listening to a guy whose house you moved out of -- go get yourself an attorney. Not HIS!!!
