Divorce and joint property held with father out of state

Within the past two years I have been added to the deed of my father's home in Pennsylvania. I am facing a divorce in CA.

Will my father's property be considered my real or "quasi-community property" at the time of my divorce. And if so, can it be used against me at time of division of community property?

If this is so, how soon before filing for divorce would I need to redeed the property back to my father, so his home will not be affected by the divorce settlement.  Thank you.

That will depend on how are you added on the deed and the State laws of Pennsylvania. Usually the only that property is considered separate property is if it a gift or inheritance... I would check with your lawyer before proceeding but my impression is that deeding it back to your father would eliminate the risk that it may be considered community property. Good luck.
