The divorce of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston was finalized almost a year ago, but new dirt is rising to the surface in his tell-all autobiography, “Bobby Brown: The Truth, The Whole Truth, And Nothing But…”
This week, a New York Post story reported a few of the book’s sordid details, including Brown’s claim that the marriage was to blame for his many drug addictions. He also claims that he and Houston got married for all the wrong reasons” and that the union was “doomed from the very beginning." "Now I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married... to clean up her image.”
Excuse me? Brown already had several run-ins with the law before he met Houston in 1989. He’d fathered three illegitimate children with three different women. And I doubt that anyone was forcing him to shoot up or roll a joint. Step away from the crack pipe, Bobby. You've clearly had too much.
What do you think? Is it too easy to blame a failed marriage for one’s personal problems?
