Relocation - Residency Issues to file for divorce

My husband is in the military. We are currently in GA. I am planning on relocating to TX with our boys (3 and 6) to be closer to my family to have a support system. The problem is GA and TX both do not offer Legal Separation as an option. If I file in GA he will keep me from leaving the state. If I wait until I get to TX I have to wait for 6 months to regain my residency. I need to know how do I get child support if I have to wait until I actually file papers????? I cannot pay for daycare, car note, car insurance and the other bills without some help, especially since I will have to look for another job when I relocate.

I am trying to do this as friendly as possible but he just cannot hold a conversation without cursing at me and calling me awful names. He does this in front of the kids as well. I am just to the end of my rope and need advice on how to get him to understand that we can do this in a way that will not impact the kids in such a negatively way. I don't want my kids being put through all of this. They deserve to be kids. They did not ask to be here we choose and planned to have them. He is now overwhelmed with the responsiblility of kids, family, and his career that he drinks very excessively daily and usually blacks out or passes out in the mid afternoon time. I generally find him on the couch and he does not even know that I am in the house which could be very dangerous if someone else came in or if there was a fire.

PLEASE help me with solutions or resources on how to get the child support started until I can file for divorce since legal separation is not an issue in TX where I am relocating to.

THANK YOU

If you currently work in GA to pay your bills, you should file there.  Most states are OK with moves.  You just need to build it into your custody agreement.  If you have to come back to TX right away, I suggest you find work before moving.
