Custody Advice

I need advice in custody fight. 3 daughters, age 18, 16, &13. My 16yr lives with me full time - after DCF pulled her from her mom’s place for emotional & physiological abuse. I still pay child support for all 3 girls, including my oldest who turned 18 in March. Having hard time finding legal help- financially drained & ex is client of area Legal Aide.  Filing all paperwork on my own, need advice on how to proceed or how to find legal help.

I wish you alot of luck and I want to know what city you live in because I live in Atlanta and I know that here we have a juvenile hall and I know that they help in situations like that especially when the child has already been pulled out of the home by DCF. Try your local juvenile hall and they will help you with that situation or they will lead you in the right direction and again good luck to you and by the way where is the 13 year old?

Great advice from maddad,  you sounds like a great person that wants the best for the kids.  Try DCF first they should help since they know the situation.  Good Luck to you and keep us posted on your progress.

Contact your local Bar Association or School of Law. They should be able to offer you some help or point you in the direction of help.

Contact DCF in your area and ask them how to qualify for legal help for the safty of your children. Since they pulled your child out of her mom's  they already have a file started for you. Ask for a Guardian Ad Liam for your daughter.

What ever you do, keep fighting- don't give up. You've heard the old saying, "if there's a will, there's a way" - it's true. Someone will help you, but be warned- it might take a little while to find that someone.
