when do you know its time to leave

i am still struggling with what is left of what i use to call my marriage. my older child is dealing with things a little better but my son is pushing alittle but that part i can deal with. my kids have always been my true loves. my husband however is still going in the direction of "one step forward and 100 steps back". i keep trying to really but things aside but i am tried of being treated so low by the one person that is suppose to keep me so high!! when do i just say enough is enough???

I agree with Spotter ... I would try counselling for you in addition to what he is suggesting, so you start feeling better about yourself... research and go.

To me it sounds like he has a problem with himself. He is obviously sad on the inside and it makes him feel better when he puts you down. I been there and done that. I am currently working on my 2nd divorce, we just decided to get one. It hurts because i hae 3 wonderful kids. He makes it feel like its my fault. When its our fault. So i know what your going through. Your a human being, you respond as one, if you didn't you would be a human. We all make mistakes but if you feel its time to leave then its time. Don't force yourself out if your not ready. But from what i am hearing your ready to go just scared. Take your time and go one step at a time.

WELL FOR YEARS HE HAS MADE ME FELL AS IF I AM WORTH NOTHING. HE HAS THIS WAY ABOUT HIM TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS HE IS THE BEST. HE HAS NEVER OFFERED ANY HELP WHEN I NEEDED IT OR EVEN ANY CONFRONTED WHEN BOTH MY PARENTS DIED. MY MOM HAD A LONG AND PAINFUL DEATH AN ALL HE COULD DO WAS MAEK ME FEEL GUILTY FOR WANTING TO HELP. WE HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT DIVORCE BUT NOTHING TO SOLID AS OF YET BUT I DON'T FEEL ANY CONNECTION TO HIM ANYMORE AT ALL. NOTHING. MY KIDS ARE GONE AND NOW I AM WITH SOMEONE I DON'T LOVE AND SOMEONE THAT DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ME AT ALL.
