2nd time around...should I go?

I pretty much know what to do but am finding it very hard to make the decision. I divorced my current husband in 1998. I remarried him in 2001. When we first married I only knew him for 6 months. I guess you could say we don't know much about each other. There have been good times but more bad times. We have three kids together and I know they would be much happier if we were apart. I have been through my share of drinking, drugs and cheating with him. I don't think he is cheating on me but one never knows! I just recently got a huge promotion at work and he resents it. He throws it in my fave every time we fight now. He is a very jealous and possessive person. He tries to control everything I do from what I wear to what time I go to sleep. I feel like I am trapped! And then other times he treats me like I am his mother. I have to wake him everyday and remind him of everything...even to pick the kids up from daycare! I am doing everything alone anyway so what do I really need him for. I have stopped crying about it. I think I am to the point where I am so fed up I am mad. I just don't like him anymore and am so tired of everything. All he does is tell me he loves me when we argue. I have told him I want a dvorce and he just laughs at me. I am concerned about the kids and what will happen if I don't "get" them. He is a good father but on;y when it is convienent for him. Any advice would be awesome. I am in Texas and the laws here I am not at all familiar with. We were divorced in Connecticut the 1st time. Thanks!

Hi... I don't know much about the laws in Texas but maybe you could find some information on this website http://www.divorcenet.com/

Regarding your situation, I think you may still love someone but realize that living or be still married to that person might not be the best thing for you and your kids. good luck with whatever you decide is good for you.
