help

i have been seperated for 9 years , im getting a divorce soon , My question is , we owned a mobile home when we seperated , it was in my wifes name. She sold it , now am i able to get half the money ???

I agree with Brad... you can try... but so long after the divorce and if it was not even mentioned before, and being your wife... and the depreciation and all that... do you realy think that it is going to be worth the effort?

Probably not but you have a right to try. There are some basic principles in laws of equity. First and foremost is that you take some action to protect your interest in property. Nine years of inaction is just a tad past most statutes of limitation. You say "we owned" but that the asset was in your wife's name. Right there you have an uphill fight.
