Husband is being an ass

I moved out of my house on Dec 15, 2007.  I filed for divorce but my husband talked me in to dismissing it because the lawyer I had picked was really expensive.  He promised me that he would file but now won't do it, his Ala-non sponsor told him to wait 6 months before doing anything.  I left somethings at our home and now want to go and pick them up, he said I cant get them. What should I do?  Can he refuse to sign divorce papers if I was to go and refile?

he can refuse to sign the papers but that doesn't mean you can't get the divorce. i would put in my divorce papers about the property you want and let the law handle it from there.

He cannot stop you from going to your home and picking up your things -- it's home. And law enforcement should be able to help you if you have proof that your name is on the house. But it sounds like you need the attorney that you got rid of. I would suggest talking with your attorney.
