I don't think it matters how long ago you were divorced.  I've known people to divorce then get married again the next weekend.  Course, they were a cheatin' and that was the reason for the divorce.

An annulment means that your marriage is no longer recognized by the Catholic Church. It has nothing to do with the legal aspects of the marriage.  I filed for an annulment and it went through due to "my spouse entering into the marriage with evidence of no commitment to the sacrament."  However, it did not have any legal ramifications. Unfortunately, my spouse found a way for his company to hide his money so he is trying to cop out of his support.  So, I may be having to go back to court.  So much for someone who is supposed to be so religious.  The church indicated that he will have to show proof of attending anger management classes before he'll be able to wed in the church again. I thought that was pretty funny so it was worth the time spent filling out the questionnaire.

You have to look up the state laws for that state, if it was the same place the divorce was granted. Some states restrict how long before you can marry again.
