Found Text Messaging proof of Infidelity
I think I found some text messaging proof of my husbands infidelity. Can I use this in court? Should I approach him? What sould I do?

I found out through the wonderful world of technology. He actually sent me a text by mistake that he meant to send to her, saying how good it was and how bad it was what he was doing to his wife and that he wasn't sorry, how about those apples. In the middle of the divorce now so not sure how this is going to pan out, but he couldn't deny it, he just moved out and didn't even look at me while he was moving. But I took him back after that and he is still talking to her and now we are at this part where we are dividing things and she is getting to share a bed at night with him.

Gosh ember, wish I had read this when I was going through it because saving the facts about the money not going for the divorce would have been really helpful. I got such a short end of the stick since my lawyer was not for me and paid a fortune for things I never should have. I even had to pay him for my masters degree! How sick is that? Most men lie about these things but if you have concrete evidence of things then confronting him will make you feel better. It just will make him more hostile to you. I found a travel itinerary that said '2 guests, 1 bed' and he denied that! Actually had the audacity to say that it was a mistake by the airlines. Such a joke. My cousin saw him out to dinner with someone so that finally confirmed it for me.

Samantha, my husband (soon to be x) also cheated. I found text messages, and emails and numerous other things. If you live in a no fault state, then I dont think the text messages will matter in court. You can do what I did, I forwarded the messages to my email, saved them, and am using them for when it comes to debt division. Since he told "her" he was going to send her gifts an money whenever he could. I refuse to pay the debt he racked up. So, I am hoping that those texts will be enough to show a judge that the debts incurred were not for our marriage.

SAMANTHA IM GOING THROUGH THE SAME SITUATION YOU ARE. MY HUSBAND HAD AN AFFAIR WITH MY BEST FRIEND. I FOUND OUT NOT FROM EITHER OF THEM TELLING ME BUT THROUGH TEXT MESSAGES AND PICTURE MAIL. I CONFRONTED HIM AND OF COURSE HE DENIED ANYTHING WAS GOING ON. I SUGGEST YOU CONFRONT HIM WITH WHAT YOU KNOW FOR YOUR OWN PIECE OF MIND. IF YOU DONT IT WILL CONSUME YOU. BELIEVE ME I KNOW BECAUSE I DIDNT CONFRONT HIM RIGHT AWAY.
