State Retirement

I was married for 20 yrs to my ex and
when the final divorce came through
( I was out of the country when my divorce got finalized.
The judge said I could not touch his
state retirement and my ex could not touch my
sizable inheritance.  Both my parents were alive at the time
and who knows if there will be an inheritance when my Mom passes.

What I would like to know is can the judge
award him full retirement without sharing
with me after 20 yrs of marriage?
He got everything else, the house, furniture and
cars.  Can I still fight that divorce settlement?  Or do i even need to?  I thought
it was automatic that after 20 yrs you get
part of your ex's state retirement.

In short, YES.  Judge's can pretty much do whatever they want that is why it is advisable to settle a divorce outside of court and not leave it up to someone else.  It does seem strange that your ex got everything and you say all you got was to keep your "possible" inheritance.  In most states you can appeal the decision of the judge and I would if the facts of your case are as described.
