What do you do when your Ex's girlfriend won't leave you alone?

I could write a book on all the things this woman has done. She actively persued my husband after finding out he was married, and took him in while we were taking some time apart after I discovered the affair.
When he came back and told me he was choosing her, I wished them well.
He packed up and left me and my children to move in with her. That's when the harassement began. The hateful words on myspace, the emails, the text msgs. She admitted she told him to stop paying the mortgage on the house I was still living in, to cut me and the kids off completely, she's gone after his family, called me out as a horrible mother in front of my children, tried to talk them into staying with them when I sent them up for a visit.
Don't get me wrong, he made the majority of the bad choices, but she's sitting there along side cheering him on, and attacking me while he looks on himself.

The ink still isn't dry on the divorce and they are planning their marriage ceremony already.

This woman is slightly off hinged, and I'm not saying that to be spiteful I have the police records and psychological records to prove it.

He's chosen to live with this woman, yet I'm the one having to deal with her and now I have to deal with the idea that this woman will be around my children during visitations.

I've turned the other cheek until it's black and blue. Is there anyone out there that can give me some advice?

She has made a very painful period of my life even more painful.

Thanks for the help...Right now she is being quiet probably due to the divorce getting into high gear. I have spoken to my lawyer about suing and will probably do so after the divorce is final. My kids are older, ten and thirteen and sadly their father isn't very keen on spending alot of time with them anyway so it might not become an issue with visitation.

Id talk to a lawyer and see if there is some way to change the visitation rights to supervised due to her unstable mental state.

How old are your children?  I would be a little worried with her being around your kids if she is so unstable.  Keep all police reports and call the abuse hotline on this website if you need to.

You can get a restraining order and/or sue the loon for civil harassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress. You probably have increased medical expenses due to the stress. If you sue for civil harassment keep tabs of your medical expenses, time lost from work and your mileage to and from your doctors.
