Looking for advice site

Hi, all.  It has been almost a year since I was here.  I have been trying to really stay positive, and not focus on the Ex, and the troubles there.

Now that the divorce has been finalized, the custody settled, and my life is back on track and normal, I have been looking for a site/forum/chat place that single parents can go to get real advice (NOT singles looking to hit on single parents.... ew.)

Does anyone know of any good sites for that?  I appreciate any help.  Navigating the dating world with a child is hard- harder when NONE of your friends are in this boat.  Thanks!!!

I have used Google quite a bit for this, just search "dating after divorce" or "how to talk kids about dating" etc and I am sure you will stumble onto some good stuff.  In general I have learned a lot of it depends on the age of the child(ren), how long you have been divorced and how serious the relationship is but there are some pretty common sense basic rules out there.

I can tell you from personal experience it is very hard to meet people for me.  If they don't already have kids, they want them (I don't), if they do already have kids- you have opposite weekends etc..  It is a whole new world for sure.

Congrats on moving forward!
