We both Hurt and don't know what to do.

Hi Su yin, robert referred me to you. when i met my spouse I was only with him for a few months like 2 months and then I went to Iraq.  I hardly know him but other than that he is a very good guy.  I just don't connect with him at any level.  I don't feel emotional or in love when i am with him and i don't see him in my life down the road.  I feel bad for saying this but I don't think I love him at a deep level.  I must care a lot because whenever we discuss separation, I get choked up and upset.  I've been divorced before and I know how it hurts but to be with him I feel it's not real. i feel like i have to be with him because i married him and to honor god.  Usually I don't really like spending time with him because i never really enjoy it.  what more do i need to say. doesn't it sound like I can't stand him. both of us have reached the end of the rope or close to it and the only way out is separating.  He is not going to ask for separation because he doesn't want to admit that he already lost me and I care a lot for him and don't want to lose a great guy but at the same time I am so sad with him. I do feel it's time to go but I'm scared.

yes he does Bea4 and he is really sad and unmotivated at his business and home life because in order for him to be happy I have to be happy. I want to be happy but i feel convicted about leaving him and i feel i like i am dishonoring God and i just feel selfish.  I am at the end of the road and it's hard for me to step into separation because I know the consequences which are sadness and depression basically a deep pit.

Diamond, I feel for your situation.  Does your husband know that you have fallen out of love with him?  Do you think there is any way you can fall back in love with him?
