wife inherited a lot of money last year(2007), now that she has filed for divorce,(2008)what is my claim to the money

In Texas inheritance is not considered community property, it is her seperate property, even if she inherits it during the marriage.

that varies state to state. you''ll need to ask a lawyer about this one. i think it makes a difference if the money was spent though....did she use it on the house, buy items, etc?
