does anyone know anything about Alimony

I have been married for 81/2 years. I have been a stay at home mom supporting my kids and his career. Am i intitled to anything

I agree with tweety. I would talk to a lawyer and see what you can do to stay married for another year or so. i do believe that ten years is the number. have you tried counseling?

first thing is are you in Florida. I went thru a divorce while i was working part time, My ex made almost 3 times an hour than I did. We were married for 15 years. In the state of Florida they go by several things. 1. how many years you were married 10 years is almost a sure thing depending on both salaries. 2. the percentage of both salaries. since you havent been working there is most likely a chance you will get alimony. How far are you in the divorce. if you can make it to 9 years you will have a better chance. What does you attorney say.
