What if my husband is no where to be found?

My husband left about 6 1/2 years ago. I don't know where he is and haven't spoken to him. We have no property, share no assets and have no children together. How can I go about a simple divorce that won't cost me a bundle? I work two jobs and can barely pay my bills. But, I need to be legally rid of him. What should I do? Tara6

Thanks for the advice. I will check out any leads I can get. It's just really time that I surgically remove this benign tumor from my life.

"Constructive service of process" where if you dont know where someone is, you cant serve them with divorce papers, so some states allow you to publish the notice in the paper (here is a wikipedia article on the concept http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constructive_notice ) and this publishing takes the place of the process serving. Unfortunately, you prob need an attn to do this right....
