Nasty infront of the kids

He is not even my ex yet but the nastiness infront of the children is unaccepteble to me. He has said tht i am no good, that he does not want me, that I am a bad mother for putting my personal life ahead of the kids, not to mention loud arguments saying unheard of things infront of the kids. The boys are 5 & 7 and are clearly feeling the "process". he is now Daddy Do good and he is exhausting them by keeping them away from home, doing this and that and every other thing. He is a difficult one. he's a policeman and is "above the law" at all expenses. he is shrewd and controlling. Thats why we are divorcing. If he will say anything in front of the boys now, I can't wait to find out what he will say in the future. his aliby on this is that "he is just speaking the truth and they need to know". Ughhhhh. Please help

As part of your custody agreement there should be a great deal of directive about how to speak to the children and how to speak to you, in behalf of the children.  When you go through the custody process, make sure it is in there...which will kill all of his potty mouth issues.

Wow! In cases like this, there is no reasonable end. These people will hunt you down to rationalize their abuse. The damage he is doing to his children is horrible. Ask the Court to appoint a parenting coordinator and you'll see how quickly the pendulum will swing your way.

Oh, my GOD ! Yea, my husband's a cop. Total A personality, in public. I'm so sorry your kids are so young. Mine are 25, 22, 19 and step-daughter of 24. My husband is way out of line in front of the kids. And because he says they are "Adult", he has made up and said horrible things to my son, trying to provoke him into a actual physical fight. My son and daughter caught him "again", with my daughters x-best-friend, in her friends vehicle 12:30AM outside the little witches work. My husband was so embarassed, he became very defensive. Through his badge on the hood of her car, and told my son, "Come on, let's go, get a piece of me now. I don't have my badge on, you hick. Your mom's no good etc..." Thank God, my son didn't fall for it. My son's a US Marine, and my husband is determine to ruin his career. What kind of man trys to provoke a skinny 19yr old into a fight. My husband is 52yrs old, physically fit. Mentally going on 21 yrs old like his girlfriend. These guys have LOST there morals. And trying to make us look bad, makes them feel better for some ridiculous reason!!! He has called 911 several times. The local police behind his back, really think he is pathetic. I have a problem with being to emotional. I am still very devistated by the whole thing. I am still in denial, that MY husband did this to us, his family. The kids are doing better than me. They see through his lies, and horrible behavier. They are past being disappointed, they are now angry.
