How???

How do I even broach the subject with my husband? We've had our ups and downs over the years, and after evaluating my life I think it would be a good idea to at least separate for a while to see if we would be happier. I just don't know how or when to sit him down and tell him that I want to leave.

A divorce should be the last resort as no one wins.  You must separate in order to let the dust settle, and thoughts become more clear.  If there is a tiny amount of love left, you two should separate, and work through counseling and then re-unite.  Just so you know, it is just as hard to reconcile as it is t divorce.

The way we handle our problems define who we are.  The difficulties you two endured, strengthen your minds as labour does the body.  Success is never a result, it's a goal.  More than ever you need to gain love, security and proper excitement to prosper in your marriage.  You may even have to be the strong one for a time.

How to go about it?  Be strong, sit relaxed with him and have the most serious talk of your life.  You must do this as men are not mind readers.  Don't just leave, discuss the matter first.  Refrain from shouting, and carefully plan your discussion beforehand.

You can do this.................I really don't know all the details, but is he a good man, is he a good provider?   Many questions need your heartfelt decision.  In life we ask for the impossible and end up with the best possible.  Be reasonable, and consider that all marriages do have problems and they succeed because solutions are workable.
