Don't you love it when

ReEmerging - my stbx has put a spin on the situation to where his family wonders why I fabricated the story...I would love to know what he has said to them, but they are blood...and the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree where his father is concerned. 

Angry - Paris ain't all it's cracked up to be.  They speak another language therefore noone knew what he was saying anyway.  Let him pay all that money on a relationship that is doomed to fail according to a lot of statistics. 

Sleeplessinal - It makes you wonder what you ever saw in them in the first place.  I just read someone's response on here about the ex and she described him as the New and Unimproved version.  I LOVED IT!  Says it all, doesn't it?

 

Hang in there ladies!  It's their loss.  I can't wait until my stbx can see how happy me and the girls are and we're doing it all without him.  Life used to revolve around him.  Well, he gets "her" and we get to move on with a healthier, happier life.  Karma's a bitch sweetheart!  May they live miserably ever after!  I gave him 22 years of my life, I won't let him destroy the next 22! 

I found out after the divorce was final he had been seeing another woman and four months later her to Paris and proposed.  To say I hate the man now is saying to little.  Anger has pushed me to quit the pitty party and start to live my life for me again.

Yes, I was just expressing respect today for kharma. My stbx is now moping about the fact that my brothers (whom he is very close with) are not calling him and offering their support and that he his feeling rejected by them. Boo hoo. Seeing his reaction, as you said, helps me to shed those remaining feelings of tenderness, or grief; I'm seeing the 'real him' instead of the illusion I created and that is helpful.
But I'm also wondering how his family will react and if he'll use them as a chance to lie about me. The people in our little town know me and have indicated they understand my choice for a number of reasons. I know it's childish to think that way, but it helps.
Anyway, keep on keeping on. :)
