How does ex wife's new marriage affect divorce decree

Part of our divorce decree (Final April 15th) was that I give her 36 months to re-fi the mortgage on our house out of my name (it is in both our names). Now that she has re-married, does that change anything as far as that time frame?

You could always ask her if she could handle it sooner....the worst thing that could happen is she can say "no". However you won't know until you do.

No, it does not.
Essentially you entered into a contract in your divorce decree obligating her to re-finance your shared house within 36 months stands.  Not doing so would be a breach of contract and you would have the right to bring an action to enforce the terms of the decree and collect whatever damages arise out of her failure to comply.
Divorce decrees are final orders.  Good luck with everything!

Well I was hoping now that she has a new husband and baby on the way that I could sever the one thing left that ties us together. If not, no big deal, the divorce left me in such a financial ruin having a mortgage on my credit really doesn't matter.

i don't believe it changes your original agreement.  she still has to refi in that time frame.

are you hoping she will do it sooner?
