Trashy ex husband and girlfriend

My husband and I have been separated for about 2 years. We have 3 children who are young adults. Fortunately 2 of them live in other states. About a month after we separated he started publicaly dating a young woman 30 years younger than he is.... She is married, living at home with her husband and has 2 small children. I hear that she is very impulsive and maybe bipolar. This is a disaster waiting to happen and very sad for this young family. I am so grateful that our children are old enough that they don't have to be around her. How awful it is to have worked hard to set a good example for your kids and then have your trashy ex husband put them is a situation like this.

my kids are older too, and they despise what my exhusband has done to me. they were brought up to take personal responsibility, honor commitments, and supporting our loved ones. they wouldn't spit on his sl*t if she was on fire though. i agree that they just seem to change overnight,

My girls are 20 and 16 and are having extreme difficulty with their father's affair. We raised them to be good moral, faith-filled people and their dad has completely undermined everything they believe in.

They are trying to rely heavily on God and realize that their dad is a lost soul right now.  They have no desire to ever meet the OW because in their mind she is morally corrupt as well.  He doesn't understand this.

What happens to these people?  How do they seem to change "overnight"?  How do we protect our children and help them keep the faith in a world that betrays them?  I'm so thankful my girls are strong but it's hard to see them waiver.  I feel for the kiddos that don't have that strong of a foundation.  My prayers go out to all the suffering families out there and the kids that don't deserve what they've been dealt.
