What are my rights according the the divorce degree?

In my divorce 8 years ago, I just wanted out and let him have the mobile home and all the contents inside. It states that in the divorce degree. The mortgage company is still reporting it on my credit and 2 years ago he filed bankruptcy, so on my credit it now shows it as an individual account since they can no longer contact him. He has been living there and paying on time, until the other day I got word that he was moving out and letting it go back. What are my rights? I have worked to hard keeping my credit good and don't want it messed up now, but I don't want the mobile home and have had no contact in 8 years and not even sure what shape it would be in or how much is still owed. What do I need to do to get it off my credit?

Sell it. I agree with the others. You should have had your name removed at the time of divorce. I'm going through that now.

I agree with Bunnee. You should have taken your name off of the mortgage when you divorced. your credit is hard to clear up if your name is on it. I would seek legal help and sell the home asap.

You should have gotten off the mortgage when you got the divorce. I'm not an attorney, but if you are still on the mortgage, they don't care what your divorce papers say. You are still responsible for the payments. I would say selling it is probably the only way out of a bad situation.
