My husbund doesn't know

Since we had few assets and grown children and also had a post nup agreement, I filed a divorce by default. It was finalized on April 1st, if you can believe that irony, but my husband does not read his mail or talk with me. I live with my son and his wife, and have asked them to stay neutral for their own good. My now x has not spoken to me for almost 2 months because he says I don't speak to him the right way. I am not nice enough to him. Anyway it is a bit confusing to me....what should I do? He does know I filed but I don't think he thought I would finalize it.

I'm kind of with mtnvly, you've sent him a notice in the mail...other thing you can do, send it certified mail, so that he has to sign for it...covers you if he decides to contest the divorce later, for whatever reason, though I would think as long as he was advised of the hearing date and didn't show up, that should suffice.  Make sure you keep the proof of receipt card w/ his signature on it, that way you can prove that he got it in the mail...if he chooses not to open it and read it, that's his problem.

I would do nothing. If it is finalized then it is done. He can find out when he (or if he ) reads his mail.
If he asks you then you can tell him.
