I mentioned before that I originally asked God to help me save my marriage. Then I realized I was praying for the wrong thing, I prayed to find peace and happiness again and to do what He wanted me to do...I had found this song and listened to it alot...Yes, I like kids' movies, if you couldn't tell, sometimes you have to go back to basics...lol....Hope you enjoy it...This was the beginning of my peace and acceptance that my life was going to be ok...maybe even more than ok...

I have done the same thing. Acceptance has given me the freedom I need to move forward with my new life. Sometimes the things we want are not what is best for us in the long run. For those that are spiritual God really does work all things for what is best for us it just sometimes takes awhile to realize it. Thanks for sharing....

Right on...that's right. It's easier to just pray for what we want...instead of what's best for us. Sometimes they are not the same things, and that can hurt. We can only be in charge of our own personal futures....

So true, thanks for sharing. I too asked for specific things to happen, and finally accepted that all I can do is work with what is and make the best of it without having to know the whys...

Thank you for sharing this Milly. You are so very right .. i remember praying for my marriage and for my ex to change her mind until I realized that God has given us all free will and would not interfere, that is when I changed my prayers for peace and happiness which helped me mend and find my way again
