Cold and Alone...

I don't really know what I could add that isn't in my profile, she really did a number on me; I've been homeless for over a year, unable to get a job with no phone # or address. I am still dealing with severe bouts of depression, I haven't seen or talked with her or the kids, despite numerous attempts... She put the mortgage 6 months behind before leaving, and I still don't know why..... I built my whole world around her and the kids, and she threw it all away, then threw me away; last I heard she moved to alpena MI..... I really have no one to talk to, lean on, depend on, or hold............

Brian60, I have tried everything I can think of... I couldn't even get a church that was rumored to be giving out gas cards to help... not that it much matters, the car has been down for a few months

Have you tried a church? Are you in a big city, or small town? I have never been in your shoes, but actually had a friend who was. It was very, very hard on him to admit that he needed help, but once he started receiving help from a local pastor and guidance, he was able to get an income based apartment and a job. He was working as a janitor in the mall, but it was a job. From there it was easier to work his way back up to another job. Just don't give up. Get your life in order, then go after those kids!

i wish there was something that i can do, what about a shelter? there has to be someplace for you to go.. please find someplace to go... (hugs)

No, I have no one... i don't know if or how i can get on my feet, i can't even find a job, I have no address, no phone.....

this depression sucks, especially when your freezing.

i am sooo sorry that you are so alone.. is there any family that you could go and see while you are going through all of this? i wish you all the luck in the world to try to get back on your feet... good luck (((((HUGS)))))
