How long to prolong?

Okay so my husband and I have started counseling, but he doesn't feel that I am all the way in.  In all honesty I am not I have fallen for someone else and he knows it.  So, he has asked me to tell him tonight if I want a divorce or want to work on this.  I told him already that I want to try counseling until the summer and after that we will divorce if I still feel the same way.  Because I feel that I have to put forth a good effort for everyone else to see.  Especially my sister who hates me currently and feels that I have to stay for our two kids.  She fears for them as do I.  But, I do not see myself staying with him because I am not happy and don't see it coming back.  So, my question is do I put forth the effort for everyone else or just back out now?

Don't play games with him. My wife strung me along after I jumped through hoops and everything else. She was trying to make it work but deep down inside I think she had already given up. When a person fights so hard to make it work and then it doesn't, the frustration can be almost imbearable.

Don't string him along.  Either you are in it or you're not.  Whats the point in faking it for the sake of others?  Probably not going to make them feel any better this summer.

Sorry, but that seems aweful to me.

i think that is too soon for you to start thinking about some else while you are going to counseling  because it can cause a distraction that may prevent you from really working out the issues - but you are the only one that knows how to feel about it - but it would be best to fix or release as soon as you are sure of how you feel so no additional dammage can be done
