Declaring spousal and child support

I guess this question is mainly for Spaz...

First off, I live in Pa.

My stbx gives me a set amount in child and spousal support everymonth.  This is an amount our lawyers have agreed upon and we are filing our taxes jointly as recommended.

My question is about filing for low income heating.  On the form, they want proof of child support from  Domestic Relations....I don't have that because we didn't go that route.  They don't even mention spousal support on the form. I do have copies of the checks he sends each month, but on our.  Low income heating would help me greatly, but I don't want to commit fraud.  With both the spousal and child support I am about $200.00 over the monthly limit for income.  With out it, I am $1000.00 below.  So you can see my dilemma.

Can I apply without commiting fraud if I don't include the money my stbx sends me every month?

On the form there might be a line for "other" income - which spousal support would be....

basically, it would be fraud to not include that income...so I wouldn't chance it if I were you.

Angie try emailing spaz at spaznskitz@gmail.com - she's in DC right now until Tuesday but she can check her email from there. I'd hate for you to have to wait till next week when this seems like a time sensitive issue.

*hugs you*
