This made my whole day, no, this made my whole life!!!

This has nothing to do with separation or divorce or pain-in-the-rear-end spouses but I had to share it anyway. This afternoon I was playing with my kids, pushing them around in this ride-on push car. My son (4 1/2) ran to my daughter (16 mo.) and put kisses all over her face and said "I love you! I'm so happy you're here!" Now, isn't that the sweetest thing? When I replay that scene in my mind I smile and cry at the same time. I hope I never forget it.

If we as adults could only keep the love and innocence that flows through the hearts and minds of children, what a world it would be. I am glad you could see such a lovely and pure moment.

How wonderful!  It made my day just reading it.  Wouldn't it be great if we could be that openly affectionate as adults!  I'll be there would be a whole lot less divorce!

Can you imagine if our spouses said this to us, or us to our spouses and meant it... there would be no need for this site! What a great toast at his wedding his sister can give. When I was still in diapers, you kisses me all over my face and  said "I love you! I'm so happy you're here!" ? I now pass that baton over to your beautiful wife.... may you cherish her and love her like that everyday.

Of all the times raising the kids, the most innocent of gestures are my fondest memories. More than any money that could ever be spent. These are best parts of you.

I am so glad you witnessed this because this is a scene you can replay in your mind over and over again. This is happiness to the heart and mind. Out of the mouth of babes and with action to back it up.

It brought a smile to my heart and face. I hope you document this and remind yourself of it frequently and remind them when they are older.

Smiles :)
