Back together

I have been divorced for two years.  I have been through rehab and have stayed sober.  My ex is still an alcohlic but is no longer abusive.  I miss him and sometimes think about getting back together with him.  It would be great for the kids.  Even though it is probably a horrible idea there is so much about him that I miss.  What do you think?

BAD IDEA BAD BAD BAD....

did I say bad?

"my ex is still an alcoholic but is no longer abusive"

he isn't abusive because you aren't together anymore, and you can't risk your sobriety being around an alcoholic.

What is great for the kids is a sober mom who is getting her act together and not having to live in an abusive household anymore.

You go back, I guarantee in less than a year, it will be hell.
