Enforced Visitation

I have been divorced for over ten years, with three children, now 18, 15 & 13.  They never want to go to their dad's and though I love the break, I ma tired of fighting them about this.  He has just remarried, which is making it worse for them, I believe.  Does anyone know, in California, what rights kids have in this?  And what is my responsibility?  Must I force them?

In CA, until they have graduated HS they are bound to the divorce agreement regarding visitation you made with your ex, and they have zero say in it. Unless they are being physically abused, they have to go to their dad's...no matter how boring it is.

Thank you.  I have never said no to my ex but he has never really asked for more time.  BUt when he is with them, he does not spend "quality" time and they sense that, I guess.  I don't want to turn it into a big deal but I am tired of fighting with them and they show up at my house most of those weekends anyways.  I have a call in to my atty but being the holiday weekend, I probably won't hear until Mon.

I am not sure about the state but I think they are old enough to have an input in how much and when they go.
You may have to file for changes in the visitation siting that the kids want change. Talk to your lawyer before you make a move though. Not worth throwing fuel in the fire if nothing can be done.
My bf's kids are 10, 13 and 16. We just went through this but because they want MORE time with their dad. Their mother backed off and they go most of what they want.
